Services for Students with Disabilities

Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) provides a wide range of assistance to enrolled students with physical, learning or other disabilities. The office, located in the University Union, room 119, is part of the Division of Student Affairs and interfaces with offices and departments throughout the University.

Students who register with the office interact with a dedicated staff who partner with them in the determination and arrangement of reasonable accommodations and support services designed to facilitate their university involvement and academic success.

Accordingly, the office serves a multidimensional role as service provider, educator and advocate. Operational philosophy is based firmly on the belief that the individuals served are students first and that their disabilities are secondary.
