Pursuit of Operational Excellence (OpEx) Conference

The Systems Science and Industrial Engineering (SSIE) department of the Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University proudly presents its first annual Pursuit of Operational Excellence event. This Conference will facilitate improved associations between industry professionals, the SSIE department, and SSIE students. Industry professionals will leave this Conference with better insights as to how industrial and systems engineering can optimize their operations.
The Conference will highlight the potential for utilizing the full capabilities of industrial and systems engineering practice offered by the SSIE department and student body, providing case examples.
The Pursuit of Operational Excellence Conference will be held in conjunction with Alumni Weekend and will feature speakers from industry, professors, and alumni from the SSIE department. Presentations and discussions will be held in the areas of healthcare systems, electronics packaging, globalization issues, and defense and commercial industries. Participants will gain knowledge on how industrial engineers can lead to simplifying complex systems and can contribute to the success of an organization.
This Conference is co-sponsored with Binghamton University's IIE Student Chapter.
