Wired and wireless. What else would we be?

Information Technology Services oversees your computing world at Binghamton University – providing you password-protected computing accounts, as well as e-mail and Blackboard course management. All residence halls and academic buildings have wireless capabilities, as do many of the open areas on campus.

Don’t have a computer? Use one at one of the many computer pods on campus. The main pods are the Information Commons, Academic A Pod areas, West Pod and Science 2 Pod. There are also several smaller public computing areas on campus and an Information Commons at the University Downtown Center.

Need help with a computing question? Contact the Help Desk, or your Residential Hall Consultant (ResCon) to help with configuration and connection problems. A ResCon lives in each residential building and one Senior ResCon lives in each residential community. If you have problems connecting to the campus network, first contact the Help Desk (777-6420 or helpdesk@binghamton.edu). They will contact the ResCon for your building.
