From the moment I stepped on the Binghamton campus for a tour, I knew I would end up here as a student. I did not know, however, the opportunities and experiences this campus would offer me.
My first year at Binghamton was a great experience. As a transfer student, I feared it would be difficult for me to make friends and join the campus community. This was most certainly not the case. I got involved in my community government and met a lot of great people. I have not met one person at Binghamton who did not welcome me. Each class I had challenged me academically and stimulated me intellectually. Because of this, Binghamton has helped me grow as a person academically, professionally and socially.
Next year will be my last year at Binghamton, as I will graduate in spring 2013. Even though I will only have been here for two years, the people I met and experiences I had will be with me for a lifetime. I may leave Binghamton, but Binghamton will never leave me.
