Title: HR Business Partner/Specialist
Having to live on my own at age 16, college was a critical gateway to my rags-to-riches fairy tale. My desire to go was only matched by the challenges of attending. Binghamton University not only afforded me that opportunity, but also provided an experience richer than I could have ever imagined. From my challenging School of Management curriculum to participating in Division I sports, the Binghamton Crosbys (an a cappella group), Alpha Kappa Psi (a professional business fraternity), the Crew team and much more, Binghamton became a formative force in my life that has propelled me to new heights.
The University's diverse environment, artistic influence and green initiatives have created a foundation of global awareness, cultural understanding, ethics and responsible citizenship such that I can guarantee a life-path I can take pride in. After earning my BS in management, I pursued a master’s degree in labor and employment relations and landed a position with Rolls-Royce as a strategic HR business partner and specialist. Today, I travel all around the world, striving to improve the work environment and set new standards in how we view and utilize human capital. Binghamton's influence has not just reached the deepest parts of my mind and my heart, it has enabled me to touch thousands of people globally, an impact that has been both humbling and rewarding. My future is full of questions, not because of ambiguity, but because the opportunities seem endless. One thing, however, is certain: the most rewarding experience will be giving back. Giving to Binghamton with my mind, my heart, school pride and yes, my financial resources, are some of the most obvious, rewarding and fruitful investments I can imagine. Binghamton's investment in me has been a paramount force and for that I am truly grateful and forever indebted.
