Learning about taste to make us healthier

Obesity is one of the biggest health problems facing this nation. Since taste is a major determinant of whether we eat something or not, the study of taste is crucial to understanding what people choose to eat and why. University union

The University Union is the home of many student organizations and professional offices. The Union offers such services as a mini-grocery store, dry-cleaning service, and DVD rental store (Munchies/Take One Video); a Student Association run photocopy center (SA Print Shop); and recreation facilities including billiards, bowling and a video-game area. Each union has its own Student Manager desk (old University Union Tillman Lobby, 777-2877; new University Union 2nd floor, 777-5877).

The Union offers many meeting facilities, from rooms with a seating capacity of a dozen to the Nelson Mandela Room, which seats several hundred. The Tillman Lobby (old Union) and Food Court (new Union) are the locations for "tabling" every week day from Noon - 4pm.  To reserve space in the University Union, please click on this link http://r25union.binghamton.edu.

A branch of M&T Bank (777-6400) is also located in the University Union West 2nd floor lobby. Hours are 10 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
