If you're visiting the Binghamton University campus Monday through Friday (including holidays) you must purchase a visitor parking permit or park at the parking garage, visitors' paid lot or at a parking meter. Parking permits aren't required for vehicles parking on campus between 5 p.m. Friday and midnight Sunday. Addition information is below, or visit our Parking Services website to learn more.

Visitor parking permits for surface parking lots are available for $6 per day. Parking permits are available at the:
- Information booth at the main entrance to the University from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday
- Parking Services office, Couper Administration Building G-8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Department of Public Safety, Couper Administration Building G-35, 24 hours a day
Lots and Garage
Hourly parking is available at the visitors' paid lot across from Bartle Library and in the parking garage behind the Couper Administration Building. Rates are $1 an hour with a maximum rate of $6 per day.
Short-term parking is available at parking meters around the administration circle, the Library Tower, by the Anderson Center box office, and near the McGuire building, the West Gym, the East Gym, the south side of Mohawk Hall, Clearview Hall and the multi-space metered lot in M-2. To park in lots other than the paid visitors' lot or the garage, please purchase a daily parking permit at locations listed above. Metered parking is enforced from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for meters located at the East Gym, West Gym and tennis courts, which have extended hours.
Special parking is available on campus for people with impaired mobility. Parking spaces reserved for this purpose are designated by the international access symbol painted on the ground or by a disabled parking sign; all visitor parking areas have some designated disabled parking spaces.

Undergraduate Admissions Visitors
Undergraduate Admissions visitors who have registered for a campus tour and information session receive free parking in the parking garage and visitors' paid lot (see the printable parking map [pdf, 451kb] for details).
Visitors' paid lot: The lower section of this lot is reserved for Undergraduate Admission visitors. If this section is full, park in any space in this lot. Undergraduate Admissions will give you a parking voucher, which you can present as you exit.
Parking garage: Undergraduate Admissions will provide you with a parking voucher, which you can present as you exit. If the garage entry arm is up on a Saturday, you may enter without taking a ticket; you won't need a voucher to exit those days.
If you need disabled parking or special assistance, please call either the Parking Services Office or the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in advance to request a special daily parking pass.
