Binghamton University Counseling Center 

607.777.2772 (Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., by appointment) / LN 1202

Offers free counseling to Binghamton University students. Emergency appointments are available by stopping in Monday through Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. These are brief, evaluative sessions where students will be provided with options for treatment and any other available actions that are relevant to their immediate needs. After this emergency appointment students may be referred to an off-campus therapist or for a follow-up appointment at the Counseling Center.

Crime Victims Assistance Center (CVAC)

Victim Advocates accompany and assist crime victims through the medical and criminal justice processes.

Binghamton University Decker Student Health Services Center 

607.777.2221 (Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.- 4:45 p.m.)

Provides free medical care and treatment to all students at Binghamton University. Can provide emergency contraception, medication, and STD testing.

Harpur's Ferry 

607.777.3333 (24-hour emergency ambulance service)

Student run 24-hour ambulatory service for Binghamton students on-campus and off-campus.

High Hopes Crisis Intervention 

607.777.4357 (24-hour crisis intervention hotline)

High Hopes is a student-run and managed hotline which has been in operation for over 40 years. It is supervised by the University Counseling Center. The hotline provides services to both students and residents in Broome County. All calls are strictly anonymous and confidential.

NYS University Police Department

University Police respond to incidents of criminal behavior and provide crime information to the campus community.

Office of Student Conduct (Judicial Affairs)

Adjudicates all student offenses, including sexual assault, stalking, and sexual harassment cases.

University Ombudsman

The University Ombudsman provides confidential, informal assistance to individuals and groups and helps identify and facilitate the fair resolution of problems. The Ombudsman serves as an information and communication resource, upward feedback channel, dispute resolution practitioner, and agent of change.

Offers reproductive health services to women, including emergency contraception, STD testing, and medication.
