Fast facts about Watson
Founded in 1983, the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University is the fastest-growing engineering program in New York state. With an innovative curriculum and real-world approach, we offer bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs in eight fields of study.
Location
The Watson School is located in Vestal, N.Y., in close proximity to the state’s top high-tech industries and a three-hour drive from New York City.

Faculty
Classes at Watson are taught by dedicated faculty members with both industry and research expertise. The faculty encompasses 84 full-time professors with a wide range of research interests.
Research
Research programs play an integral role in both graduate and undergraduate studies at Watson, with more than 100 graduate students supported on sponsored research awards. Research projects span the disciplines and often lead to breakthrough results.

Tuition and Fees
A Watson School education is a remarkably affordable investment in your future. Undergraduate tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year is $4,970 for residents of New York State and $12,870 for non-residents. Graduate tuition is $7,880 for New York residents and $13,250 for non-residents. [need updated numbers]
