Jan Lukas

LukasPhd in EE, Binghamton, 2006

Born in the former Czechoslovakia, today's Czech Republic, Jan Lukas received his MS in applied mathematics from Czech Technical University, Prague in May 1998. He continued on as a PhD student at Czech Technical Institute in Prague in the School of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, where he worked as a part-time assistant professor.

In July 2001, Lukas continued his PhD study through the Electrical Engineering Department at Binghamton University. He received his PhD in May 2006 and working as a research scientist at Binghamton University, under Professor Jessica Fridrich.

He is now working as a research and development engineer for Honeywell Aerospace Advanced Technology Brno, Czech Republic.
