Industrial Partnerships

From high-level electronics packaging research and expertise to grass-roots engineering extension outreach, the Watson School works with small-to-large industry to bring real world experience into our classrooms and cutting-edge knowledge back out to partners in the region, state and nation.

Companies can become involved and collaborate with the Watson School through research projects, membership in our research centers, or student recruitment, internships or projects. Each industrial partner brings their own perspective to a relationship with the Watson School. Through the Center of Excellence in Small Scale Systems Integration and Packaging Center (S3IPC) which includes the Center for Advanced Microelectronics Manufacturing (CAMM) and Integrated Electronics Engineering Center (IEEC) you may enter into a partnership to develop an innovative and flexible approach to an electronics system. Similarly small and mid-sized companies work with the Strategic Partnership for Industrial Resurgence (SPIR) to apply technology solutions to make your company more competitive.

Our strength is in our relevance; our future in our relationships.

As a member of industry, you may want to hire a Watson School graduate,
establish an internship to develop the bridge between a learning environment
and real work experience or sponsor a senior design project
which extends the classroom to actual engineering problems.
