Students must apply to and be accepted into the Graduate School at Binghamton University to be eligible for consideration for WISE research opportunities. In addition, interested students should contact WISE Director Krishnaswami Srihari at 607-777-4410 or srihari@binghamton.edu to talk about joining the institute. Students are typically selected to participate in WISE from among the following areas of study

• Business (must hold a bachelor’s degree in this discipline)
• Chemistry
• Computer engineering
• Computer science
• Electrical engineering
• Industrial engineering
• Math
• Physics
• Systems engineering
• Systems science
