Writing Initiative

Writing Center

The Binghamton University Writing Center is a place where students can find competent, friendly, individual, and free help in improving their writing. The Writing Center is open to all Binghamton students: freshmen to graduate students, native speakers of English and ESL students, basic to advanced writers. However, since the purpose of the Writing Center is to help students learn to write well, the tutors do not edit, proofread, or correct papers, but they do help students learn to identify and correct their own errors.
